Since my PhD in anthropology (2005), my research has focused on how religion is learned, exploring, from an ethnographic perspective, the mutual influence between cognitive, sensory, emotional and social dimensions of religious learning. I am currently developing a new research in health anthropology focusing on the experiential knowledge of people with psoriasis. Through ethnographic methods, my aim is to show how the disease changes the way people with psoriasis relate to themselves (body, mind, emotions) and to others in their daily lives, and how they develop dispositifs and dispositions that allow them to improve their live with the disease despite chronic symptoms.
